New Jeep Wrangler Pickup

You heard us right. Jeep has announced that it will be going into production with a new Jeep Wrrangler Pick for the 2019 model year and there are rumours that it could be available as arriving at select dealerships as early as April of next year.

2019 Jeep Pickup concept

The iconic Jeep brand will be running this one off of its expanded and improved Wrangler platform and will have a number of options that enthusiasts can choose from. It looks like the Jeep Wrangler Pickup will come with a short bed, four doors and a soft top removable roof and while not officially confirmed yet, the Jeep Wrangle Pickup will probably come with a variety of powertrain options that should probably include the traditional Wrangler 3.6 litre V6 option and maybe a 2 litre, four cylinder turbocharged version and we’ll also be looking for the Jeep Wrangler Pick up to come with a V6 turbo diesel 3 litre engine. There is also a lot of speculation that the Fiat Chrysler Corporation may also look to introduce a hybrid electric plug in version of the truck, but this is yet to be confirmed. What we can also assume is that the company will look to offer a ton of add ons and additions such as an off road version of the Rubicon and make available a large cross section of off road parts that will make this truck live up to its legendary off road history.

Jeep Scrambler & President Ronald Reagan

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this type of cross over in the market as the company had also produced the original Jeep Scrambler nameplate from from 1981 to 1986, which was the classic original. This truck was made even more famous by former President of the United States, Ronal Reagan who was famously photographed bombing around his ranch in his most favourite work truck the Jeep Scrambler. The company hopes that it can make some headway into the ever crowded, but very lucrative, small and mid size truck market as this segment has been the lifeblood for the North American auto industry of late. We don’t know about that, but what we do know is that we’ll be looking to line up and get our hands on one of the Jeep Wrangle Pick ups even if its only for a test drive.
